Family-Based Treatment Youth Support Seniors & Disability Carl Rogers DBT · Linehan

My background includes one of the most intensive forms of therapy, family-based treatment, providing support directly inside the homes of children, young people, and their caregivers. That meant stepping into living rooms and kitchens where communication had broken down, conflict felt constant, and families were trying to hold things together. In those moments, I helped rebuild trust, improve communication, and begin repairing relationships that had been strained for years.

I've spent significant time helping young people who feel lost, angry, or unsure of where they're headed. Together, we focused on slowing things down, making better decisions, and building direction and purpose through practical, real-life changes they could carry into everyday situations.

My experience also includes supporting seniors and people with disabilities as they maintain independence, safety, and dignity in daily life. That experience reinforced the importance of patience, respect, and empowering others.

My approach is shaped by Carl Rogers, putting the client first and meeting people without judgment. I also draw from Marsha Linehan's belief that real change comes from behavior. You don't change your life by thinking about it alone. You change your life by changing what you do.

I believe families can heal. Young people can find direction. People are more capable than they think. Real change happens through consistent action, not quick fixes.

Let's grow stronger together. — Max
